The Imaging Department at Mid-Valley Hospital is accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR) in 3D mammography and CT. Additionally, to minimize patient and employee exposure to potentially harmful radiation, the radiology department practices ALARA (As Low as Reasonably Achievable).

Mid-Valley Hospital’s Radiology department has an onsite board-certified Radiologist. In addition, we offer specialty imaging services including a myocardial perfusion scan. This screening helps determine if a person is suffering from coronary artery disease, or blockages in tiny arteries that feed the heart. Mid-Valley Hospital is also the only hospital in the area to offer nuclear medicine.

Outpatient services

Outpatient imaging services are available at the hospital and the clinic by appointment. Patients may come to any of the two locations with physician’s orders and receive diagnostic testing that will promptly become available to your primary care provider.
